IRG Custom Course: VTS Fundamentals
Ready to lead like Dabney, and slow down to speed up?
Over the past six years, the IRG has offered a taster experience of VTS as part of the IRG100 program, and it has been consistently one of the most highly rated components of the program. Now Hailey Group is customizing a short fundamentals course, especially designed for the IRG community.
It's an opportunity to go deeper and learn the fundamentals of Visual Thinking Strategies with Dabney and her expert team.
This IRG-exclusive, custom short course will deepen your listening, self-awareness, and facilitative leadership skills, helping you help others to think more deeply and be more innovative.
You will:
Actively practice Visual Thinking Strategies, including understanding the why’s behind each of the method’s techniques. You will facilitate at least two discussions and receive personalized feedback from an expert VTS coach and your peers.
Use the method with materials from your own workflow and apply the techniques you’re learning back at work. You will also hear about how Hailey Group clients apply the strategies.
Learn to cultivate critical thinking, diverse perspectives, comfort with ambiguity, evidence-based reasoning, and psychological safety with all stakeholders.
Understand how VTS connects with and supports larger frameworks drawn from leadership, cognition, psychological safety, and innovation, particularly within 1) marketing and 2) the C-suite space.
Practice new ways of being and knowing within the safe and thoughtful community of IRG peers.
This experiential, highly interactive course is designed for C-suite and C-1 marketing leaders and led by Dabney Hailey and expert coaches. We will meet in small cohorts for two-hour Zoom sessions each week for four weeks. Enrollment is limited to 8-12 people per cohort.

Absences? We strongly recommend you attend all four sessions of this highly interactive, experiential course, which depends on the presence of the group for its success. We understand sometimes there are mitigating circumstances; if you know you will miss one class, we can accommodate that by scheduling your practice on other course dates and sending you a recording. If you miss more than one class, we cannot promise you will practice twice or receive the full benefits. Unfortunately, there are no make-up classes.
